Based on the Pau-de-ariã or some kind of Rain Stick, this is an indigenous instrument from the Saterês-Malês.
This instrument creates the sound of a continous rain by rotating the gourd in a circular manner.
The creator is Celdo Braga, born and raised in the Amazon.
